William Titus’s a former SLF beneficiary now employed in the field of Building and Construction
William Titus has participated in our OVC sponsorship program by SLF since its very beginnings in early 2007. He was a diligent student. His father died in 2006 when he was in secondary school at Kitale Secondary School. At that point, his education would have ended had it not been for Stephen Lewis Foundation Support that made him to continue with his study. His mother did not make enough from her small-scale business of Sugar cane farming to pay his school fees. Sponsorship by SLF provided stability dduring difficulty times when nobody was there to stand in the gap.
Thankfully, his education continued uninterrupted and he continued to concentrate on his studies. After his form four, he joined Sang’alo Institute where he pursued Diploma in Building and Construction. He graduated in 2011 and now he is a contractor in building and construction company. He has bought a half an acre plot and now stays at his own farm far from ancestral home. William Titus confesses, “I don’t know what I would have done without being sponsored by Stephen Lewis Foundation through CREADIS!”
